Where Does It Hurt? – A Visual Pain Communication Board for Kids

Helping your child explain what hurts shouldn’t be a guessing game.
Our Where Does It Hurt? board is a custom visual tool designed to support kids—especially those who are non-verbal, autistic, or have difficulty explaining their pain. Whether it’s a sore tummy, stubbed toe, or something more, this board gives little ones a way to show you what’s going on—without the overwhelm of words.

Why families, schools, and therapists love it:
✔️ Visual communication support: Perfect for non-verbal kids, children with autism, anxiety, trauma, or language delays
✔️ Customisable and inclusive: Choose a blank body, male, or female version—or add a note at checkout to personalise it (e.g. with glasses, limb differences, mobility aids)
✔️ Engaging and interactive: Includes three reusable acrylic “band-aids” that kids can place where it hurts, and a whiteboard marker to draw or mark more specific spots
✔️ Sturdy and designed for daily use: Made from durable 3mm acrylic, with re-stickable Scotch dots for endless reuse

Product details:

  • Approx. size: 25 x 19cm

  • Includes: board, 3 acrylic band-aid/plaster pieces, whiteboard marker, and Scotch Re-stickable dots

  • Instructions in image gallery

💡 A heads-up: The sticky dots may be a little stubborn at first—but they settle after a few uses. If they ever lose their stick, just wash them in warm soapy water and air dry to bring them back to life.

Created with real-life parenting in mind.
Originally made for my own son who couldn’t verbalise his pain, this board is now used in homes, classrooms, and therapy centres across the country. It’s more than a communication aid—it’s a tool for reducing anxiety, building trust, and helping kids feel safe and understood.
